“Around The World In 18 Wines & 6 Beers”

Saturday evening, April 24, 2010 Friends of WomenSafe hosted our First Annual Wine Tasting at Colonial Beverage in Chesterland, Ohio. “Around The World in 18 Wines & Beers” offered samplings of an interesting selection of wines from all corners of the globe as well as beers both exotic and familiar, accompanied by mouth watering appetizers.  The event featured a Chinese Auction as well as a 50/50 raffle.  Chaired by FOW Board Member Kathy Shimer, the evening was a lot of fun and generated a net of $1,399.17.  Watch this site for the date of next years wine tasting!
