May 12, 2010 was the date of the Eleventh Annual Spring Luncheon to benefit WomenSafe.  Held at St. Mary’s Banquet Hall in Chardon, catered by Jay Walker’s Café, with the beautiful harp music of Ginni Dickson, featuring speakers Trapper Jack and Terry Moir from the WDOK fm Morning Show, the luncheon attracted 158 guests and offered a lavish 46-item Chinese Auction.  Sponsored by UHHS Geauga Medical Center, Lawrence Dolan, Fairmount Minerals, Seventh Avenue Management and Kohl’s Department Store #237 in Mentor, the net proceeds from the luncheon were $8,128.42.  WomenSafe Executive Director Shayna Jackson accepted a check for $5,000.00  from Nancy Zamrzla, Treasurer of Friends of WomenSafe, Inc.
